NT5886 is an ashless, multifunctional liquid additive that, as a thiazole‑based alkyl mercaptan derivative, combines high‑efficiency metal deactivating (particularly copper protection), corrosion inhibition, extreme‑pressure performance, and auxiliary antioxidant functions. Even at low loadings, it exhibits outstanding sulfur‑induced corrosion inhibition, while its unique formulation effectively suppresses the corrosive effects of hydrogen sulfide, making it an ideal choice for enhancing product performance and durability in lubricants, fuels, and metalworking fluids.
Performance Features
① Efficient copper corrosion inhibition: At low dosages, it effectively suppresses the corrosive effects of active sulfur on copper and copper alloys, providing robust protection.
② Hydrogen sulfide corrosion inhibition: A unique formulation effectively neutralizes and suppresses the corrosive effects of hydrogen sulfide.
③ Excellent metal deactivation: chelates copper, iron, and other metal ions, inhibiting catalytic oxidation and extending the service life of lubricants.
④ Auxiliary extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties: By forming a surface film, it reduces wear and can also enhance the oil’s extreme-pressure performance.
⑤ Synergistic antioxidant effect: When used in conjunction with the primary antioxidant, it significantly enhances the overall antioxidant performance of the lubricant.

Recommended dosage
Lubricating oil: 0.1%–0.5%
Lubricating grease: 0.1%–2.0%
