T5186 is a liquid, ash-free, multifunctional additive based on a thiazole dodecanethiol derivative, offering three key functionalities: metal deactivation (passivation), extreme-pressure anti-wear performance, and auxiliary antioxidant properties. Even at low dosages, it effectively inhibits the corrosive effects of active sulfur on copper and copper alloys while synergistically enhancing the performance of sulfur-containing extreme-pressure additives. Widely applicable in automotive and industrial lubricants as well as metalworking fluid systems, T5186 significantly improves equipment protection and extends the service life of lubricants.
