Product Overview

Adding 0.005% or 0.01% of T553 can effectively enhance the oxidation stability of lubricants, making it a viable partial substitute for T501 or phenyl-α-naphthylamine in transformer oils while significantly reducing costs and delivering outstanding economic benefits. It exhibits excellent compatibility, blending well with commonly used additives such as antioxidants, rust inhibitors, viscosity modifiers, anti-wear agents, and detergents/dispersants. Notably, when combined with ZDDP, it does not form insoluble salts. Additionally, T553 demonstrates superior oil solubility, making it suitable for applications including transformer oils, anti-wear hydraulic fluids, synthetic lubricants, HL universal machine tool oils, and steam turbine oils. It is also highly effective in both water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions.

Performance Characteristics

① Excellent oil solubility: It is fully miscible with various oils, including synthetic esters, and can be stably dispersed in oil-based systems without experiencing layering or precipitation. This makes it suitable for a wide range of oil-based lubricants and liquid media.

② Outstanding corrosion resistance: Significantly reduces the corrosion rate of metals in oil-based media, effectively inhibiting electrochemical corrosion on metal surfaces and minimizing metal loss.

③ Excellent friction-reducing and anti-wear properties: When used as a lubricant additive, it effectively lowers the coefficient of friction, enhancing the service life and operational efficiency of mechanical components.

④ High stability: The molecular structure is relatively stable, exhibiting resistance to decomposition and oxidation reactions within a certain range of temperature and pressure. This ensures consistent performance under various operating conditions. Additionally, it demonstrates excellent compatibility with other additives, making it easy to incorporate into formulations alongside other ingredients.

⑤ Significant cost-saving benefits: Adding just 0.005% or 0.01% of T553 can enhance the oxidation stability of oil products, allowing it to partially replace T501 or phenyl-α-naphthylamine in transformer oil and delivering notable cost savings.
